              Quality Boarding for Cats & Dog

                        NO PET will be accepted without a current vaccination certificate.
DOGS must be vaccinated with a 5 in 1 Vaccination + Leptospirosis & Kennel Cough - 1 YEARLY
                           CATS must be fully vaccinated for 3 in 1 Vaccination -  3 YEARLY.
 
All pets must be wormed and deflead prior to boarding. Management reserves the right to administer worming/flea products if deemed necessary.

IMPORTANT we are CLOSED --25 DEC - 2 JAN 2018
ALL pets boarding over Christmas/New Year will need to be checked in before the 24th Dec 2017 and collected from the 2nd January 2018
 
 
HOURS ARE STRICTLY:  8.00 - 10.00 am & 3.00 - 5.00pm Everyday

    • SMALL DOGS :   $27.00 -  Bichon, Shih Tzu, Maltese etc

    • MEDIUM DOG :  $29.00  -  Beagles, Spaniels, Whippets etc

    • LARGE DOGS :   $31.00  -  Boxers, Labradors, Mastiff etc.

    • DAYCARE :         $20.00  -  ALL SIZES

    $ 5.00 -  Public Holiday Stat Day Surcharge  -  to help with the extra staffing that is required.

  • Over Christmas cats are housed with another cat if you want your cat to be housed by itself it will cost $25.00 a day.

  • MEDICATIONS in a pill form Must be separated prior to arrival. Your Vet will have a machine that can half, quarter pills etc. We will give Medications free of charge if all pills given in smaller quantities are separated for our staff.

  • RAW FOOD must be supplied by the owner and bagged individually for each days meal

  • We supply dry food, beds , entertainment and love within the above prices J

  • Management have the right to change our prices without notice.

How our daily charges works

Just like a Hotel, a full day is charged regardless of arrival time, as once your beloved pet(s) are in our care it becomes a chargeable day.

All days booked must be paid for in full on arrival.

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

Facility standards and management practices are vetted to a high standard. All care and professional expertise will be given to your pet.

We do not accept responsibility for illness, injury , loss  or  failure of medications/supplements administered for any reason.

The owner understands that we operate a communal interactive playgroup and accepts the positive benefits and potential risks involved.

If an animal is abandoned at our Resort  i.e. not collected within 7 days after the agreed pick-up date, without any contact from the owners, our company has the right to re-home/ dispose of it however

required.

 

Management reserves the right talk to your Vet in regards to any concerns with your pet/pets .

In the event of your pet requiring any veterinary attention during your absence, we will make every effort to phone you or your emergency contact number (supplied by you) to explain what is needed.

If we cannot make contact, we must reserve the right to make arrangements and any fees will be met by yourself, the pet owner.

 

IMPORTANT BEFORE YOU BOOK --- MUST READ NOW

 
Our hours are 8.00-10.00am & 3.00-5.00pm NOT before and certainly NOT after these times.
 
YOU MUST be here no later than 4.45pm to collect you pets because the kennels are preparing to be locked down for the night for everyone's safety 
 
If you are not going to collect your pet by 5.00pm please contact us by 4.00pm and we will prepare to board your pet overnight at & extra night charge, payable on pick-up the next day.
 
We work 11 hour days, 7 days a week--- from 6.30am-600pm & WILL NOT be working outside these hours.
We have dogs that bark in the night and have to get up for them also and 100 things more that we could list.
 
We are not responsible for the Auckland traffic, hence why we have this article online now, you are responsible for leaving earlier,  if you really want to collect you pet that night.
 
80% of business in the Albany area close at 5.00pm. You would not expect NOEL LEEMINGS, FARMERS ETC to open after-hours because you couldn't make it within their work hours, so don't expect us to either. Come back the next day, like you would with any other Business.
 
Do not phone, email or sit out the front of the property, we will not be letting you in.
 
If you feel you will be one of these people, please DO NOT book with us, we are busy enough.

 

 

Christmas/January Bookings- Peak period booking Information:

  • During peak season i.e. 20th December - 11 January we charge for all days booked regardless of Check-In/Check-out time.  

  • CHRISTMAS INFORMATION: We are closed for check-ins from the 25th December - 02 January so all pets must be booked in before these dates.

  • All New Customers must have their dogs board for an overnight stay before being excepted for any Christmas/New Years booking. This is the busiest time of the year and we need all pets to be settled and relaxed, requiring your dog to meet us & us to meet him/her.  We will not confirm any Christmas booking without them staying with us .

  • Pets must be collected on the Booked leaving date or a charge of  $50.00  per night per pet, will apply for any late pick-ups. This is because the day of departure for your pet is the day of arrival for another.

  •  

  •  $100 deposit is required to confirm your booking during Peak periods, with the remaining balance payable on arrival. This Deposit is non-refundable.

  •  

  • Once bookings are confirmed, we regret we must charge for all days booked irrespective of late drop-off or early collection.

  •  

  • CHRISTMAS / JANUARY ONLY: Cancellations before the 1st November  receive their deposit. Cancellations after this date are non-refundable/transferrable

  • LONG WEEKEND ONLY—Cancellation within  7 days of the check-in date are non-refundable/transferrable & if cancelled before the 7 days,  receive their deposit back minus an Administration fee of $50.00.

 

Once deposit is received, acceptance of our Terms and Conditions will apply.

 

Refunds on Peak period bookings are not available if you:

 

  • cancel your booking, or change your mind and decide not to utilise your booking

  •  

  • have purchased (or someone else booking on your behalf) the wrong booking by mistake;

  •  

  • CHRISTMAS / JANUARY ONLY : Cancellations before the 1 November receive their deposit back 

  •  

  • All Cancellations after this date are non-refundable/transferrable

  •  

 

You will be eligible for a full refund on the amount you paid for your pet/pets booking

 

  •  your pet pass’s away and a qualified Vet verifies this in writing to us

 

  • Declaration: I have read the above agreement, understood the above and agree to the terms and conditions of my pets boarding at Albany Pet Resort.
